Over the years I have watched perfectly sane people become completely unglued at the very thought of hosting a gathering. Does a beautifully set table make your food taste better? Well it may not, but it will certainly make the dining experience more enjoyable. The part that I enjoy most is working with my current inventory of props to create a unique tablescape. Shopping for interesting new (or old) pieces is fun and the occasional addition to my inventory will inspire a new theme.
Whether it is a fundraiser, corporate event, private special occasion or a simple weeknight meal, setting a beautiful table is uplifting, stimulating to the senses, and downright civilized.
