The second part of Fig season runs from August through October and I always try to get a couple of "fig fixes" in during this time. Grilling them lightly brings out their natural sugar and I love to combine them with a creamy rich cheeses such as Goat or Gorgonzola. Today's pizza is made with a grilled Naan flatbread that is spread with Ricotta cheese, sprinkled with Gorgonzola, carmelized onion, sliced grilled figs and topped fresh peppery Arugula that is tossed lightly in olive oil.
